I work extensively with Eating Disorders and Technology Addiction/Overuse issues in my therapy practice. These are areas which impact people body and mind as well as relationally. One of the most important strategies I use to help my patients improve their health is to start to identify what they are passionate about, what distracts them in a positive way, makes them happy. Leading by example, I am starting to use this strategy as well. I love to write and often cannot make time for it in the busy day to day life of a therapist, mom, church children and youth director. I am committing to make more time for it – for myself. I even published a small article Love Magazine article.
